Ok, here's the deal: The panel "brake" light has been on, so I thought it was low on brake fluid (happened last year); so I added some DOT-3 fluid. However, unlike last year, the light did not turn off. Over the last few days I have noticed the need to apply more & more pressure to the brake pedal. Today it is BAD! I had to practically push the pedal all the way to the floor with ALOT of pressure to use the brakes while driving SLOWLY (10-15 mph). Of further concern is that when I turned the car off, I smelled something odd; as if something was burning (or had burnt). Yikes. Any insight is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Also, I have never been crazy about the factory brakes, so I was considering some new brakes (larger?) that would require LESS pressure & would be more responsive. Any suggestions? My Z is a '92 TT w/69k miles, factory performance except for the ALC-II. Again, thanks in advance, james
